Football Recap: Jefferson County Warriors vs. Washington County Golden Hawks
Jefferson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by the Washington County Golden Hawks 32-0. The Warriors lost against the Golden Hawks in their previous head to head back in August of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 28-20 score last time.
Jefferson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Washington County, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson County will face off against Academy for Classical Education at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Washington County, they will welcome Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both are at an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2016.
