Volleyball Recap: Midland Find Success

Midland won the last time they faced Pflugerville and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Midland easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11.

Pflugerville's loss came despite strong showings from Paige Nguyen and Khianne Alpuerto. Nguyen had nine digs and seven assists, while Alpuerto had six digs. Marley Hill also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Midland's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Pflugerville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Midland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Connally on the 21st. As for Pflugerville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Americas on the 21st.
