Softball Game Preview: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers vs. Cocoa Tigers

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy lost 9-3 to Cocoa Beach on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Minutemen recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaliannah McMillan, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Alivia Harrison also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Cocoa couldn't beat Titusville on Monday even though they stacked six runs on them in the third inning. The Tigers came up short against the Terriers, falling 18-12. Tigers fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Terriers since on Monday.

Jerriana Pollard made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 4-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Kindle Gold, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Cocoa, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
