Basketball Recap: Celebration Continues Home Dominance on Monday

Celebration had won three straight home games and Evelyn Juden did her part to make it four on Monday. The Celebration Storm came out on top against the Poinciana Eagles by a score of 49-38 thanks in part to Juden, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards. She has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last five times she's played.

Abby Locher was another key player, putting up four points and nine steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Celebration's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Poinciana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.

Celebration wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-50 victory against East Ridge on the 28th. Poinciana has also already played their next matchup (against Olympia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
