Georgia high school football rankings: Nationally ranked powers Grayson, Lowndes each move to 4-0

Lovejoy climbs whopping 115 spots after 19-7 win over North Gwinnett.

Nationally ranked Grayson (Loganville) and Lowndes (Valdosta) rolled on in the fourth week of Georgia high school football action to remain at the top of the Peach State Top 25 rankings. The top-ranked Rams (No. 5 nationally) moved to 4-0 with a 26-7 win Friday over Archer, while the Vikings (No. 9 nationally) also remained perfect with a 38-13 victory over Lee County.

Cedar Grove (Ellenwood), the new No. 3, bumps up one spot despite not playing yet this season. Former No. 3 North Gwinnett falls 16 spots after its 19-7 loss to Lovejoy on Friday.

There were a handful of double-digit movers this week, but not as big as Lovejoy, which climbed 115 spots to No. 16 after beating the Bulldogs.

In addition to the Wildcats, four teams entered the Top 25 as No. 14 Jefferson climbed 12 spots and No. 15 Brookwood (Snellville) jumped 15 places. Additionally, John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville entered the Top 25 at No. 23, up four spots, and Hillgrove (Powder Springs) lands 25th, eight sports higher than last week.
