Baseball Game Preview: West Rebels vs. Maryville Red Rebels

West is 1-9 against Maryville since May of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Rebels are taking a road trip to take on the Red Rebels at 6:30 p.m.

On Monday, West came up short against Knoxville Central and fell 8-3.

Jack Moffett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Maryville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Red Devils.

Maryville's win bumped their record up to 19-15-1. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 18-16.
