Santiago entered their tilt with Etiwanda on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. For the Sharks, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Pierce Willardson paced Santiago's offense, picking up seven kills. Willardson got some help from Carson Chambers and his 18 assists. Nathan Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Santiago's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Etiwanda, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Santiago didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Diamond Ranch on the 21st. As for Etiwanda, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Chaparral on the 22nd.
