Soccer Game Preview: Redmond vs. Woodinville

The Redmond Mustangs will take on the Woodinville Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Redmond fell victim to Mercer Island and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Islanders by a score of 1-0. Redmond have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Woodinville put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Issaquah. Two seems to be a good number for Woodinville as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Woodinville pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matchups. As for Redmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Redmond came out on top in a nail-biter against Woodinville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Does Redmond have another victory up their sleeve, or will Woodinville turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
