Volleyball Recap: PikeView Comes Up Short

PikeView was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenbrier East Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

PikeView's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Greenbrier East, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, PikeView will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on James Monroe at 5:30 p.m. on the 8th. As for Greenbrier East, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Shady Spring on the 30th.
