Football Game Preview: Corcoran Panthers vs. Orosi Cardinals + Official Tickets

The Corcoran Panthers will face off against the Orosi Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Orosi took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Corcoran, who comes in off a win.

Corcoran is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-20 victory over Orange Cove. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won five in a row.

Justin Huerta was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 109 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Corcoran was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 451 rushing yards. They are 2-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Orosi's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 36-29 to Granite Hills.

Corcoran will have to contain Jason De La Cruz as he made an impact in Orosi's last game. He rushed for 69 yards and two scores, and also picked up 61 receiving yards. De La Cruz has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last four times he's played.

Corcoran's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Orosi, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.
