Basketball Recap: Billerica Memorial Finds Playoff Glory Versus Grafton

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Billerica Memorial had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 54-34 margin over the Grafton Gators. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Gators are ranked 209th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Billerica Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Grafton's loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-8.

As of now, neither Billerica Memorial nor Grafton have any future games scheduled.
