Soccer Recap: Thomas Jefferson Takes a Loss

Thomas Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Godwin Eagles. While losing is never fun, Thomas Jefferson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Godwin are ranked 35th).

Thomas Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Godwin, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Thomas Jefferson will square off against rival Maggie Walker at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. Meanwhile, Godwin is set to face off against their familiar foe Glen Allen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
