Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pinkston). They blew past the Kimball Knights 23-7 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on three straight.

Pinkston pushed their record up to 5-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Kimball, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pinkston will take on rival Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kimball is set to face off against their familiar foe Wilmer-Hutchins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
