Soccer Recap: Western Comes Up Short

Western's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palo Verde Panthers. Western have struggled against Palo Verde recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Western's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Palo Verde, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-3 record this season.
