Hughson entered their tilt with Ripon on Thursday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Indians by a score of 9-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-3 on March 11th.

Dominic Aguiar made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-1. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lawson Aviles, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Andrew Fisher was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Hughson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ripon only posted an OBP of .364.

Hughson's record now sits at 13-2. As for Ripon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
