The South Beloit Sobos will square off against the Hiawatha Hawks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Hiawatha will be up against a hot South Beloit team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Everything went the Sobos' way against Polo on Tuesday as they made off with a 12-5 win. Cesar Alfaro made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Alfaro was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with one home run and two RBI.
