Softball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison lost against Dirigo last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Cougars, falling 13-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Dirigo, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Madison will head out to face off against Monmouth Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dirigo, they will face off against Oak Hill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
