Volleyball Recap: Hudson Raiders vs. Marshfield Tigers
With a playoff game on the line, Hudson rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Marshfield Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on three straight.
Hudson walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-9, 25-16.
Hudson was led to victory by Chloe Lockheart and Kaitlyn Drost. Lockheart had 14 digs, while Drost had 12 digs. Lockheart has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last three times she's played.
Hudson's record now sits at 35-2. As for Marshfield, they moved to 37-5 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
Hudson will face off against River Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hudson is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. Marshfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
