Baseball Recap: Windham Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Windham and Maplewood squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Windham had to settle for second. They lost 8-0 to the Rockets. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Bombers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Windham saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Eye, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. That double marked the first that Eye has hit this season.

Windham's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Maplewood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.

As of now, neither Windham nor the Rockets have any future games scheduled.
