Pleasant View Christian had won four straight at home, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 6-0 to make it five. They strolled past the Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks with points to spare, taking the game 57-42. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 71-23 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2021.

As for Merrol Hyde Magnet, they now have a losing record of 2-3. The contest marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Noah Beloney and Eliot Johnson certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Beloney dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards, while Johnson posted 12 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jackson Givens, who put up eight points.

Looking ahead, Pleasant View Christian is taking a road trip to face off against Franklin Road Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Merrol Hyde Magnet, they will welcome Davidson Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
