Softball Recap: Orange Cove Titans vs. Orosi Cardinals

Orange Cove put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Orosi Cardinals a 20-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but Orange Cove sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Daisy Regalado looked comfortable as she pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Hazel Ocejo was incredible, going 4-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Kylee Gomez, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

Orange Cove has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Orosi, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

Orange Cove will stay at home for another game and welcome Corcoran at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Orange Cove knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with flashy run totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Corcoran likes a good challenge. As for Orosi, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Farmersville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
