Cameron County was forced to take a big loss against they on Friday, they got the better of them on Friday. They blew past the Smethport Hubbers 11-0. The Raiders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Ryan Shaffer was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Boden Pearsall was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Cameron County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cameron County's victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7. As for Smethport, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Coming up, Cameron County will challenge Northern Potter at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Smethport, they will take on Elk County Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Hubbers surely won't give up without a fight.
