Softball Recap: South Point Pointers vs. Symmes Valley Vikings
After flying high against Chesapeake on Monday, South Point came back down to earth. The Pointers fell just short of the Symmes Valley Vikings by a score of 6-5 on Wednesday.
Kaylee Stidham was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Adyson Copley, who earned one run and two stolen bases.
South Point's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Symmes Valley, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-2.
South Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Symmes Valley, they will square off against Dawson-Bryant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
