Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Providence Academy Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 on Monday.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Providence Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Lincoln will challenge Life Way Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Providence Academy, they will face off against Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
