Volleyball Recap: Overhills Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Overhills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jack Britt Buccaneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Overhills took Jack Britt into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 17-25, 17-15.

Overhills' loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Jack Britt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Overhills will welcome Richmond Senior at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jack Britt, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cape Fear at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
