It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Edison ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Will Rogers College Ropers 2-1. Edison haven't had any issues with Will Rogers College recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The victory got Edison back to even at 3-3. As for Will Rogers College, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-1 record this season.

Edison will host Coweta at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Will Rogers College, they will venture away from home to take on Bishop Kelley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bishop Kelley will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Will Rogers College surely won't give up without a fight.
