Grayslake North's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lucy Roscoe, who had 15 digs and four assists. Laila Verber was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.
Meanwhile, North Chicago came up short against Wauconda last Thursday and fell 2-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-7.
North Chicago's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Grayslake North, their win bumped their record up to 12-20.
