Baseball Recap: Montello Comes Up Short

Montello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peshtigo Bulldogs.

Montello's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Peshtigo, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bulldogs beat Montello by a score of 7-3 later that day.
