Liam Goran and Grant Hartley secure win for Keystone

Recap: Keystone Wildcats vs. Clearview Clippers

The Keystone Wildcats came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on Clearview with a sharp 68-44 victory. The result was nothing new for Keystone, who have now won three matches by 23 points or more so far this season.

Keystone was led to victory by Liam Goran and Grant Hartley. Goran scored 18 points along with seven rebounds, while Hartley scored 24 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The contest was Goran's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Nagle, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Loss or not, Clearview got some senior leadership from Jai Walton who scored 13 points and Ayden Cruz who scored nine points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that Cruz pulled down eight or more rebounds. Cy Christensen was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Even though they lost, Clearview were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Keystone only racked up 19 assists.

Keystone now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Clearview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Keystone will head out on the road to face off against Norwalk at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Norwalk has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Clearview will be home for the holidays to greet Brooklyn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brooklyn has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 336 points over their last five contests.
