Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Skyla Mastronardi and Claire Bono Lead Smithsburg to Victory

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Smithsburg walked away with it. They came out on top against the Liberty Lions by a score of 57-44 on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Leopards as they're now sitting on three straight.

Smithsburg was led to victory by Claire Bono and Skyla Mastronardi. Bono dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards, while Mastronardi dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. With that strong performance, Bono is now averaging an impressive 8 boards per game. Jayda Tyler was another key player, putting up nine points.

Smithsburg's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16.
