Volleyball Recap: DSST: Green Valley Ranch Picks Up Sixth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for DSST: Green Valley Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Englewood Pirates on Friday. This was payback for the Raptors, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While DSST: Green Valley Ranch might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Englewood scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 24-26, 25-21.

Jerzey Jacobus paced DSST: Green Valley Ranch's offense, picking up 19 kills. Jacobus got some help from Mariam Qasemi and her 38 assists. Elizabeth Mafi controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
