Recap: Starr's Mill Panthers vs. Whitewater Wildcats

The Starr's Mill Panthers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 44 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took down Whitewater 24-10. For Starr's Mill, this counts as revenge for the 14-6 loss Whitewater walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Starr's Mill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Logan Inagawa, who threw for 180 yards and two touchdowns. Lincoln Delaere did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Starr's Mill's win was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 7-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.8 points per game. As for Whitewater, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Starr's Mill will be playing at home against Shaw at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Shaw will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 310th, while Starr's Mill is ranked 101st). Whitewater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
