Soccer Recap: Mars Hill Bible Takes a Loss

Mars Hill Bible was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Guntersville Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Wildcats are ranked 34th).

Mars Hill Bible's goal came courtesy of Jesse Parker, who's now up to six this season.

Mars Hill Bible's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Guntersville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Mars Hill Bible has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Bob Jones on the 3rd. As for Guntersville, they will be playing at home against Arab at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
