Softball Recap: Immokalee Takes a Loss

Immokalee fell victim to Doral Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 9-0 to the Doral Academy Firebirds. The Indians were not able to make up for their loss to the Firebirds from their previous meeting back in April of 2021.

Immokalee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Doral Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Immokalee will take on Western in a tournament on Saturday. As for Doral Academy, they will head out to take on Westminster Academy at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Doral Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.
