Baseball Recap: Patterson Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Patterson's offense. They fell just short of the Gregori Jaguars by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Patterson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caden Lozano, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Patterson has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Gregori, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-12 record this season.

Patterson will face off against Sierra at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gregori, they will take on Modesto at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.19 runs per game on average), something the Jaguars will no doubt try to take advantage of.
