Volleyball Recap: Natalie Starkey Key Part of Team Effort in Saints Win + How To Watch

San Dimas won the last time they faced Bonita and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Saints blew past the Bearcats 3-0.

San Dimas not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Bonita between 18 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 25-20.

San Dimas' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Natalie Starkey, who had 24 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Starkey has posted over her last four matchups. Janelle Marquez was another key player, getting 13 digs.

San Dimas was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive games.

San Dimas' victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Bonita, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3.

Looking ahead, San Dimas will venture away from home to square off against Monrovia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bonita, they will host Chino at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
