South Caldwell had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Ashe County on Wednesday. The Spartans were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Huskies. Considering the Spartans have won 15 games by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

South Caldwell is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.1 runs over those games. As for Ashe County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-10 record.

As of now, neither South Caldwell nor the Huskies have any future games scheduled.
