Basketball Recap: Munster Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Munster won the last time they faced Crown Point, and Cecilia Mason did her part to make sure it happened again. The Munster Mustangs came out on top against the Crown Point Bulldogs by a score of 58-48 on Tuesday thanks in part to Mason, who went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points in addition to seven assists and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Helena Spencer, who posted eight points. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Crown Point lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ivy Henderson, who went 7 for 11 on her way to 14 points along with three steals and three blocks. Gia Gagianas was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Munster's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Crown Point, their record is now 10-9.
