After a string of five wins, the Comanche Indians's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to Hamilton 63-57. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Comanche came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 482nd, while Hamilton is ranked 1041st).
Mike Bushnell went supernova for Hamilton, scoring 33 points along with 8 rebounds. Pierce Summers was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 7 blocks.
Comanche's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Hamilton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.
Comanche will square off against Troy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Clifton at 8:00 p.m. on December 8th. Clifton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three matchups.
