While Cripple Creek-Victor ultimately came up short, they really made Cotopaxi work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16, 20-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Deer Trail, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past Miami-Yoder 3-0 on Friday.

Deer Trail's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
