It was a good run, but Garnet Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 28-7 to the Springfield Cougars. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Garnet Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Springfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Garnet Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Ridley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Jaguars 14.4, the Raiders 6.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Springfield will take on rival Strath Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
