Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Lansing). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Waverly Warriors 45-6. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

Baylor Schanski was his usual excellent self, rushing for 92 yards and one touchdown.

East Lansing picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Waverly, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, East Lansing will face off against Holt at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waverly, they will take on Ovid-Elsie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Marauders have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
