Softball Recap: Central Falls Warriors vs. Hope Blue Wave        
        
		
            
 Central Falls came tearing into  Friday's  contest with seven straight wins  dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.1 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by  a  16-3 margin over the Hope Blue Wave. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Central Falls also won the last time the pair played  back in June of 2023.
  Arghennis Disla was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Disla was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Pamela Galva and  LC Collins did most of the damage at the plate:  Galva  went 2-for-2 with three  runs and four  RBI, while  Collins  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and three  RBI.  Harlow Morrissey was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Central Falls' victory was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 2-0.
 Central Falls didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  13-3  win vs. Juanita Sanchez Complex on the 10th. As for Hope, they will head out on the road to  take on  Classical at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday.
