Football Recap: Morrilton Takes a Loss

Morrilton managed to slip by Greenbrier the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Devil Dogs took a blow against the Panthers on Friday, falling 52-21. The Devil Dogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 25-0.

Enoch Assan continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Greenbrier, rushing for 220 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picking up 45 receiving yards. Trendon Moseley did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 80 receiving yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Morrilton fell to 3-1. As for Greenbrier, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
