Charlotte Latin put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Covenant Day Lions as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Hawks not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

Charlotte Latin got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-10, 30-28.

Allie Haynie paced Charlotte Latin's offense, picking up 20 kills. Haynie got some help from Emily Cao and her 33 assists. Scarlett Black controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Charlotte Latin's win bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Covenant Day, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Charlotte Latin will challenge Providence Day at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Covenant Day, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Cannon on the 29th.
