Basketball Recap: Danville Gets the Win

Cold Springs came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Danville, but Tristyn Barrett wouldn't allow it. The Danville Hawks walked away with a 64-57 win over the Cold Springs Eagles on Tuesday thanks in part to Barrett, who went 8 for 11 en route to 19 points in addition to five boards and three steals. Those 19 points gave him a new career-high.

Ty Bailey was another key player, putting up ten points along with five rebounds and five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played.

Danville's victory bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Cold Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Danville will venture away from home to take on Good Hope at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Cold Springs, they will host Falkville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
