Baseball Recap: Seneca Valley Screaming Eagles vs. Clarksburg Coyotes
Seneca Valley lost to Clarksburg back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Screaming Eagles lost 24-5 to the Coyotes. The Screaming Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nathan Rampersaud made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Rehan Karunapala also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Seneca Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Clarksburg, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-9.
Coincidentally, Seneca Valley and Clarksburg will both be playing Poolesville the next time they take the field. The Screaming Eagles will head out to face the Falcons at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Coyotes will host them at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
