West Liberty-Salem beats Fairbanks for their third straight win

On Friday, The West Liberty-Salem Tigers got themselves on the board against the Fairbanks Panthers, but the Fairbanks Panthers never followed suit. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 55-0 victory over the Panthers. The result was nothing new for West Liberty-Salem, who have now won eight games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Gabe McGill went supernova for West Liberty-Salem, rushing for 169 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. McGill is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last five games he's played. Josh Wilcoxon also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

The win was the third in a row for West Liberty-Salem, bringing their record for this year to 9-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.3 points per game. As for Fairbanks, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

West Liberty-Salem will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 7:00 a.m. on Friday. Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 576th, while West Liberty-Salem is ranked 211th). Fairbanks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
