Soccer Recap: Valor Christian Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Columbine

Valor Christian faced Columbine in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Eagles fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Columbine this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Monday.

Valor Christian's goal came courtesy of Ella Ashouri, who's now up to nine this season.

Cherokee Trail will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Columbine surely won't give up without a fight.
