Softball Recap: Walhalla Comes Up Short

Walhalla lost to Seneca back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Razorbacks came up short against the Bobcats, falling 10-4. The Razorbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mara Chappell made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI.

Walhalla now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Seneca, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, Walhalla will challenge Crescent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seneca, they will square off against Berea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Bobcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
